The women's panel (age 40-49) includes the CBC, CMP, estradiol, FSH, hemoglobin A1c, iron & TIBC, LH, lipid panel, progesterone, TSH and vitamin D levels from the women's (age 30-39) panel. Additional markers tested for in the women's health (age 40-49) panel include the testosterone total and free test and the vitamin B12 test.
The women's health panel (age 40-49) screens for a variety of health conditions related to general wellness, hormonal balance, thyroid health, and important vitamin levels in the body. This particular panel adds on testing for testosterone - a hormone which drops in many women in their 40s - and checks for a treatable deficiency in vitamin B12.
